Accreditation
N.A.M.E.'s mission is to build credibility for the membership and the industry in the eyes of the public. We believe that increased visibility and credibility will lead to more clients and our membership's ability to increase their bottom line. To effect these changes, the association is of the opinion that a program of Accreditation was the avenue to be taken. We have introduced the Endorsed Professional Entertainer (EPE) program as a building block to our goals. This program requires members to take their standards to a higher level and hopes to set them apart from other professionals in our industry.

The Association is starting a nationwide program to drive more traffic to your site and to your door! N.A.M.E. is heavily engaged in a national advertising campaign to bring the association to the attention of the media and the consumer. Ads are being placed in national bridal publications and a strong connection has been made with the largest internet site for weddings, TheKnot.com. N.A.M.E. also has a marketing agreement with Respond.com to deliver qualified disc jockey sales leads to your email inbox.
The association has also contacted the major television programs such as, The View, Today and Good Morning America in order to bring attention to our industry. Music Licensing
N.A.M.E. has had over the past few years a number of conversations and meetings with executives from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This organization oversees the legal and illegal re-recording of licensed music. While these meetings and conversations have proven informative, the association feels that there is much more work to be done.
Music licensing has long been a sore subject with our industry but it may very well be a necessity in the future. Our industry is growing by leaps and bounds and it will soon become evident that licensing for professionals cannot be ignored. The association has opened up the lines of communication and fully expects to continue the hard work of negotiating with the RIAA and any other body regulating the music industry.
All pertinent information is available to the membership and can be obtained by calling the national office. Any new information will be published on the association website as soon as it becomes available.

These rates apply for both outbound and inbound calls as well as 800# service to your business. There is also an optional calling card program. Paetec is an independent long distance carrier and they promise no solicitations or telemarketing. Customer Service is excellent and problems are resolved quickly and efficiently.
